Marconi Fruit Panzanella

Preparation
Preheat oven to 375 degrees fahrenheit. Mix together 1/3 cup of sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. In a large bowl combine Marconi bread cubes and melted butter and toss well. Add the cinnamon-sugar mixture to the bread and butter. Mix well. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the cubes out onto it. Bake for about 15min or until toasted. While the bread cubes are toasting, combine fruit and tablespoon of sugar in a bowl. Once the bread cubes have toasted and cooled to room temperature combine fruit (with juices) and the bread cubes in a large bowl. Mix well and serve! |
