Preparation
Pre-heat oven to 400 Degrees Fahrenheit. Remove Crust from slices of bread (you could use a round cookie cutter or just a knife). Roll each slice of bread flat with a rolling pin. Brush each piece with melted butter and place in muffin tin. Use the rounded end of a wooden spoon to lightly push in corners. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until ends are browned. Let cool and fill with your favorite appetizer dip! We have a spicy roasted corn salsa, turkey salad with cranberries, and a garbanzo bean salad in ours. All which came from local deli's! 1 lb. of appetizer filled about 12 medium sized tins; next time you are at your local deli grab some Marconi Italian bread and your favorite filling and try these tasty treats! |
